A legal audit is a structured review of the documents and obligations a business is actually operating under, as distinct from the ones it believes it is operating under. We read the contracts, the constitutional documents, the employment arrangements and the regulatory filings, and we report on what is compliant, what is exposed, and what is simply missing.
The output is a written report that ranks findings by exposure rather than listing them in the order we found them, so the first item is the one to deal with first. It is deliberately practical: each finding carries what it would take to close it.
The agreements the business relies on, assessed for enforceability, missing terms, expired documents and unsigned counterparts.
Constitutional documents, authority and signing arrangements, share registers and the corporate record.
Licensing, ultimate beneficial ownership, economic substance, anti-money laundering and data protection obligations.
Contracts, policies and end-of-service arrangements, assessed against the UAE employment framework.
It depends on the size of the document set. We scope it before starting and quote a fixed period of work, so the exercise does not run open-ended.
Yes. The findings are prepared for the business and are not disclosed elsewhere.
The audit and the remediation are separate pieces of work, quoted separately. We do not think it is right for the party recommending the work to be the only one who can price it, so the report is written to be actionable by anyone.
Common triggers are preparing for an investment or a sale, a change in ownership or management, entering a regulated activity, or simply a period of growth during which documentation fell behind operations.
